some small progress with bumpers

Postby chunkychap247365 » Sun Mar 08, 2009 12:38 pm

I know I said I'd try and make some bumpers from scratch but what a pain in the arse to cut any thing straight enough over 1 metre length. So I've cheated and brought an escort mk5 bumper and chopped it.

Rims ha ha i'm sticking with the 15s on the front as thats what came with the independant front end. This chassis cab originaly came with 14s and a beam axle. It looks better with the smilie front grill though. Closing the gap in front should'nt be too much of a problem by the time i've screwed a few metal plates in to the back of it,pack with glass , fill with P38 and high build primer to hide the lot.
