Thats the maximum angle without going through the sides, so I hope the clock face is a nice angle to read... Plastic filler tomorrow
Yep thats a dremmel type tool, hundreds of atatchments, cuts, grinds, sands, polishes everything

where is the pod from we're after doing something similar in the mk6 cossy van - at the moment it's got a boost gauge wedged in the dash top document tray

AndyG supplied the bits... the pod is fibreglass, which makes a little harder to bond together, plus there isnt much room for it to go in and give it an angle so that the face is pointed towards the driver...
Ive got a double one here for myself and I dont think its going to fit in, may have to be 2 singles... Ive started to fill the joint this morning before work, but Im running out of isopon bumperfill and body filler doesnt stick really well enough. Im worried it will crack being two matterials, which expand at different rates in direct sunlight, but we will see

Well, Ive had a few problems tonight.... the fibreglass I used to join the parts together, isnt bonding to the plastic pillar cover, even after using solvents to soften the plastic! Its now sitting in the shed with some epoxy resin in the joints, should be set in a few hours. Not sure what else I can use.

I sometimes use a glue stick and a hot screwdriver melt everything together (both bits of plastic + glue stick), on certain types of plastic I use the same hot screwy with super glue! don't get a wiff or get and eye ful... nasty!

AlanN, if it doesn't work out, do not worry about it
I know (from what you've already said) that it might not be possible, due to the pod being fibreglass and the A trim being plastic
