does any one know a garage that can change my smokey to a fire breather with a 24v cosworth engine i have an r reg 2.5d 80 :twisted:

:shock: there's a fair bit of work in a conversion like that! if your paying a garage to do it its gonna cost a fair bit!! :(

That 3.7 is now in a Mk3 cortina, with a jag V12 supercharger strapped to the side :twisted:

looked into the coversion a lot seems fairly easy there are a couple of good web sites to help out
i will post some photos when i pick her up

yeah pmcc on newgate lane thats where my vectra go to be serviced
they where intrested in doing the conversion but wanted over a £1000 for doing it top boss was more so looked at doing it my self
all ready had the engine out once when the cam belt snapped had to replace the cam followers and push rods so hopefully all will go ok

just sorted my garage ready for the new granny pick it up saturday
so can take out the engine next week :D

does anyone know if there are ant probs with fitting an mt75 gearbox the info i can find is very vague dont know if the hole will line up if fitted with a 24v cosworth
any ideas please :?:
