land rovers are 165mm pcd wheras transits are 160mm they may "fit" but i wouldnt be too sure their safe!!!

apparantly tata trucks have transit pcd and some of them have alloys :D but i dont think anything else shares the transit pcd!!! :?

I aproached every supplier I could think of, none of them seemed to think they would be able to sell any, they are probably right, apart from this forum how many decent vans do you see on the road? Thats why I deceided to go with alloys instead, I couldnt wait forever!

Alloys

Postby Terry » Mon Mar 20, 2006 8:50 pm

Personally I don't like to have to keep cleaning them but.......
What sort of price are you expecting to pay for alloys.
A friend of mine runs a small Honda tuning garage & gets alloys,
I mentioned that lotsa Transit people were after them and he
got the brochure for Transit fitments.
Basically 15"/16" work out at about £110 each & he'll do 10%
discount (+ VAT) the largest they do was a 19" they are
German made but I can't remember the name (something like
Carlsberg... or was that what I am drinking ?).
If anyone is interested post here and I'll P.M you a phone number.
or if you prefer I'll put the number up in the 'good suppliers thread'
There were only 4 illustrated and they were the modern 5 or 6 spoke
style, all looked to be 5 stud.
I got a little black book with me poems in
Pallet Puller

Yeah but would like to know more about these wheels! Can you not try and put some details up on here! Some 19s would be cool, and although the other wheels are more expensive that may be becuase they are different wheels!

The only one I can get cheap are the Vantec (15") and the Vantec2 (16")

The 15s are £320 all in and the 16s are £380 all in.

Here's a pic..

Alloys

Postby Terry » Wed Mar 22, 2006 4:09 pm

AS usual with these people say one thing mean another, Yes they do up to 19 inch wheels for vans but not Transits, the tyres are not available, because the van is too weighty to run on car tyres.
So 16 inch x6.5J only at £99.57 +VAT each. CW Alloys is the company
and they are manufactured by Borbet who are OEM for VW and others,
apparently
