Postby intransit89 » Sat Jun 13, 2009 5:23 am

i can get a set of 5 for 50.00 with car tyres tho

205/65/15

i could fit 225/70 15 van tyres? or 195/15s :?:

also i know transit 5 stud is 160pcd is vauxhall 120 pcd?

]so i need to get adptors made up?

also could i have them in studs with 14 mm so the tranny 5 stud nuts fitted?

transit studs are 12mm

You could fit the 225/70/15 to em - but they wont have a suitable weight rating for your van and you will be giving the plod and vosa a green light to pull you over, have a good poke around your van then issuing a big fine!

Dont know vaux 5 stud PCD but I know a man who will

But they would look good :)

IIRC Vauxhall PCD is 112mm.

IMO, there is no way you will fit those alloys over the centre hub unless you drill out the centres of the alloys; which will then cause the problem of weakening the alloy because the original bolt holes will be so close to the hub hole. Hope that makes sense :?:

GBBiker - he will have to get adaptors made anyhow so the centerbore isnt that relevant (depending on the offset)

they'll be ok BBS are a quality manufacturer and the crossspoke design is a strong one :!:

if they were a cheap alloy in this sort of design then they wouldn't be up to much on a transit :)
