opening side windows

Postby the_big_fact_hunt » Sat Aug 22, 2009 6:42 pm

i am considering making some side door opening windows for another van i have, the look i want is like the bonded side windows fitted to mk6 vans, but in perspex with opening hinges like the ones in people carriers and some minibuses.
Has anyone tried anything like this before???

i was thinking of the same sort of thing
but you can buy windows that do open and slide for the swb mk6.
i was going to put black perspex on the full side to make it look like they are windows on my van.
as my van is black and i think it would look good.
