I bet it would be expensive, probably cheaper to get a full sunroof fitted :P

I would think expensive would cover it, theres all sorts of bits need swapping.
I put some side deflectors on mine (99 lpg) so that was a bit cheaper, around £55 as I remember. You can almost hear youself think at 70 with the windows down.

With the dual fuels, the most important accesory is an lpg map and a Morrisons loyalty card!

It seems you can buy a kit for a deisel at around £1400 plus vat but not for the petrol / though you can buy a mondeo kit ( same engine ) so obviously the only difference can be the compressor mounting bracket but no-one can be arsed to obtain that bracket as a separate item.

I do have one company who are looking into it.

I had Air con fitted to a Mk6 (55) at the dealer when bought it. They got in a air con specialist to fit a Eberspacher system this cost around £2000. The dealer told me thay had got the price down as they were having a number of them done. I cant remember how much I was quoted at first, but it was over £2000.
The job took 3 days (that what I was told) and buy the look of it, the whole dash had been removed. With an after market one you can have a heat exchanger fitted in the back as well.
The company that fitted it is Bon Air in Essex

Had air con (Eberspacher) fitted to a mk6 in Southampton for under £2k 2 years ago and I think its worth every penny. However I usually keep vehicles for 10 years.....

The dealer was efficient and very helpful and the installation has been trouble free. If anyone wants more info pm me.

Thats a mk5 though. This is for a mk6. They make it more complex being a newer van.

No mor complex than fitting it to an EPIC

Isn't the engine different? Duratoque - DI.

The issue is getting the parts. They haven't broken enough mk6's yet for the parts to be available. But it is a good suggestion to see if there is a knackered mk6 in the scrappers.
