Sat nav reversing camera

Postby johny transit » Mon Sep 06, 2010 11:33 am

Hi,
Been trying to get one of those sat navs with a reversing camera (Binatone T430) but they seem to be a bit rare. Have seen a seperate wireless reversing camera on the bay that plugs in to usb and a/v sockets on an existing sat nav. Wonder if anyone has tried one of these cameras?http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GPS-Wireless-Car- ... 5418027480
Also, not having had a sat nav before - do they mostly tend to come with usb and a/v sockets or is this something I will need to check before buying a sat nav?
Thanks,
"There's always a way"

to be honest better off having the reversing camera going into a seperate screen that using the very small screen on sat navs..fold down flat screen from the roof can also double up as a screen for dvd player for those lazy days as well..

Not seen the ones that plug into sat nav units but I reckon the screen might be a bit small?

I was thinking of getting a kit that has the reversing camera but it then plugs into a interior mirror that actually has an LCD screen built into it and it can also have a DVD player plugged into it or you could fit an in dash DVD player which is what I have done (I just need to get a decent camera now)
