The MK6 seats ride up on the MK5 ridges in the floor. They're not going to be a direct swap, which I was hoping for.
Has anyone done this mod?
I suppose I could chop the base off the MK5 drivers seat and weld it to the MK6 seat....but this doesnt work with the passenger seat as the middle seatbelt is part of the frame. I'm not going to be able to chop the seat off the MK6 double passenger seat and fit to MK5 double seat base.
My seats are awful. The MK6 are virtually brand new and they look brilliant. I really want to get them in to my van.
Thoughts and ideas please
