Interior Door handles and switches

Postby gravelrash2004 » Wed Dec 29, 2010 4:25 pm

Does anyone know what other models in the ford range use the same internal door handles and switches as the MK5 smiley

i have seen some nice chrome etc door handles and switch surrounds and would be good to get some in mine :)

Granada MK2 ghia handles fit on the MK3, but you have to strip them out and mount them in the MK3 mechanism. Have you looked at some from the same period Fords, might be a little work involved 8)

I did once read that (MK5?) escort interior chrome handles fit in place of the MK5 plastic ones

Thanks gentlemen :)

I will follow these suggestions up. I quite fancied some of these as well, what do you think?

Looking at some scorpio (frog) chrome handles the other day, looked very similar, sure they can be changed with taking the card off, if I remember!

but this listed as transit/escort:
