steering wheel

Postby chunky73 » Tue Mar 08, 2011 6:55 pm

Hi, I have a mk5 and it looks like the previous owner
was peckish as the steering wheel is proper chewed, anyway does anyone
know if it can be upgraded with something a bit nicer that will fit? :?:

if you can find a 1600e cortina boss the splines the same then you have a choice of wheels also i got mine mountney off ebay for £4 then you can get van adaptor so you can fit momo style wheels
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!
anyone can restore a van but it takes a real man to chop it up !!!

i used a mk1 escort boss and a quick release mount to bring the wheel away from the stalks. Also acts as a good security device :D
