Cosworth boa manaul box

Hi having trouble getting the flywheel 2 fit, I bought the pinto adaptor plate ,flywheel and starter off ebay,butt the holes dont match on v6 ,so I bought a xr4i flywheel but the diamater is too small so the ring gear dont reach the starter! Ive go a mt75 van box, need help asap as project is on stop till I sort it!

You need the adaptor plate off a Transit V6 Ambulance
2013 mk7 Transit 125 Limited swb
1982 mk2 Granada 2.9 injection special Cosworth

can't you redrill the one you have to fit the v6 :?:

No , I dont think theres enough room due to the hole in the middle

What if I welded the old holes up and then redri?ll it? Has any 1 done this?

people have done it with the pinto plate - look up guy88 and oxtonyxo's progress threads on here :D

The pinto plate isnt the problem, its the diffrence between the pcds on the v6 and pinto flywheel

You need a V6 flywheel then

have you looked up the threads :?: theres info as to how it was done on both of them - either redrilled the pinto or used a v6 i cant remember :D

Hi progess so far
Adaptor done
spigot bearing done
Pinto flywheel redrilled and fitted
Cluch fitted
Gearbox fitted
But ive notice a problem with my cluch leaver it doesnt have enough travel to engage the cluch/disegage drive,
Has anyone else had this problem?

warm the clutch release fork with oxy an give it a bend,had the same problem on a sierra :wink:
did the trick :)

Fixed it
I got a old cluch arm cut the middle section out and welded it onto my exsisting 1
And also fitted the manifolds.
