Document holder

Before I snap the thing...any tips for removing the document holder on top of the dash?

Guessing your Mk5 in the avatar, try the Mk3, 4 & 5 tech section but I'm pretty sure it's been explained before.

hi ! to remove your doc's holder, if you tap it on the left as you look at it , then it will slide about 10mm to the right . then just lift it off !

Thanks - I got it to move from side to side...before busting it off. Some spring clips twanged off underneath, one came out onto the floor - I think they were the problem, should have taken the radio out and done it properly I suppose. Still, I won't be needing it now, as I'm doing a modification...more of which later
