Well I sold my transit minibus the other week. I miss it like hell but I needed the money to finish my car project so needs must and all that. I was just browsing through ebay looking at transits and what did I come across? yep my transit minibus. Its been flashed as it had a load of rust marks around the body, fuel gauge was faulty, solid back doors, rusty wheels, all of which have been sorted by flashing the paint work to sell it better, they have fitted the rear glass I included, to the rear doors and fitted a new set of clocks and they want £1000 more than I sold it for in the 1st place. Never mind eh. Ona brighter note I have the chance of an N reg swb transit 2.5 diesel van for free as the engine and box are missing. I still have a complete engine and gearbox so I might take it drop my spare engine in and tax it. It still has MOT, rear doors are a little rusty as is the front wings otherwise it looks good. I would go for that van without an engine if I were you! Teh final price hasn't reached £1000 yet, did you mean £100?

No Fred, If you read the listing they say they have it advertised localy for £2495. I sold it to them for £1525. I cant complain I only paid £1000 for it in the 1st place but I did a few things to it like MOT, complete new exhaust, handbrake cables, service etc so I it stood me nothing when I sold it.

Er nor, they have fitted a clock with 4000 miles more than it did have.

If you fit a second hand speedo, you have to live with the milage it has on it already, even if it's less. It's a legal way of clocking.

You would have thought they could have found a set of clocks without the crack in the plastic though, and if they had been that bothered with the 'look' they could have simply swapped the speedo units over, doesn't take too long to remove a speedo head from a cluster.
