so you think its safe from rust,

I did until I spent saturday scraping the obvious signs of rust from the underside of my swb semi R reg and treating them with kurust converter,
The L shaped stiffners apart from the ones at the rear were in reasonable nick with a good coating of sealant where they joined the floorpan , no rust there or so I thought but the sealant sounded hollow at this area .After digging it away I was left with 2" of bare rusty metal either side of the stiffners. It was just a huge moisture filled void eating away at the floorpan . camoflauged by the seemingly rock solid sealer .So the the next time your under your van looking for signs of corrosion BEWARE
