I think if we stuck a few pins in a map showing roughly where existng interested member are based and then try and find a good location, that is as central as pos for those members then that would be a start, i think we have inverness, oban, peterhead, fife, some one is near perth i think, if any one wants to add to this list as to where they are that would be good, and if you dont want people to know then give us somewhere 20-30 miles or what ever away from where you are so we could in clude them in, probably best if only members interested in a get together, add to the list though. mike

Meeting up

Postby welshrussell » Tue Feb 20, 2007 12:11 pm

BigNeil and I have been PM'ing each other other and things are looking hopeful.

I'll do the pin in map idea and include Edinburgh and all the places Smooth Hound mentioned and find somewhere central to them all.

Are there any more places I should add :?:

Obviously, I'll wait a while to let Forum members see this thread and add their names if they want to. Then we should see a rough picture of where we all are over Scotland :D

Change of venue

Postby welshrussell » Tue Feb 20, 2007 12:55 pm

OK - I've posted a thread on the upcoming events, etc section asking for Scottish members to let me know where they live so I can do the pin and map thingy :D

Hope this works - I reckon it could turn out to be quite a laugh 8)

does your job involve driving a transit?

i drive to my work in it, and home again from it, and do odd jobs at night in it sometimes
