i'd guess the torsion bit will be a snapped spring - siezed bit is self explanetry and i cant make out the other faults cant see it costing anywhere near £750 to fix

Mine is a bit of a tired ted mate been up and down at least 8000 times with a min of 200kg per go in the last 3 years result: 2 motors and a new hydrualic ram

Called at a tail lift specialist armed with a printout picture of the off road notice today. THey reckon 350 ish to fix inc labour not bad Looks like i might be having a punt on this next wed.

Stone Hardy are a national shutter/tail lift/commercial bodywork specialist. They are good but expensive and a bit officious. Have you tried calling the number on the sticker, or was that who you called?

Funnily enough I saw a simillar speedy hire tipper on ebay a couple of weeks back, and it's tail lift was held on by ratchet straps
