I would go the full respray route, if you get a near match, non standard colour ask for a jar full of the paint for future use, you never know when it might come in handy (Rotherhithe tunnel!!), or when, (three weeks later!!!)

Blue

Postby tranorak » Mon Oct 17, 2005 10:19 pm

Hey, that looks awfully like Fiord Blue to my jaundiced eye ! Code is CE and any paint mixer ought to be able to supply it. I've just had some in cellulose and 2pack so its definitely still out there. Its an old Mk1 era colour Transits, Cortinas etc but might've been on Mk2's as well. Look for CE on your chassis plate? Cheers (PS could post you a sample to compare maybe?)

hehehehe nothing should drop off it even with a good kick! :D
Its going to be wedgewood blue for now as I can just get my hands on it no bother, Thats the only trouble when you live out in the sticks! if I was still in Leeds it would be no problem at all.
Full paint job next summer in the rite paint I think. :D
