I was quoted £1950 for a colour change on a swblr from the door seals out and bumper colour code. Hence I left it alone cos I'm a cheapskate.
Some people are like slinkies.... not good for much but bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

Different van would be cheaper but that makes sense. I may be able to get it done for £500 if I supply the paint and prep so doesn't sound too bad. Just need time and good weather.

How much paint would you need to do a good job on a swb lr? Just wondering plus you need thinners, primer, lacquer, masking tape and brown paper. N

cellulose paint it stinks but the best way to go it cheap but you have to have an eye for it 3 coats of this the best thing with cellulose is it dries on it own with no hardener

hence need a good dust free place

Cellulose paint smells lovely I used to stink the street out years ago when spraying in my mums garage, cant remember if I used 1 or 2 litres on my sierra sapphire. Planning on doing the van this year but need to get enough paint and also try and scav a paint booth on the industrial estate. N
