So long story short I needed a propshaft for my ford transit Mark 6 LWB twin wheel recovery truck 2002 Year 5 speed
I found one on eBay
I went and picked it up from the seller
From previous experience it looked like a propshaft from a long wheel base 350 van ( not chasis Cab ) but he looked me in the eye and told me it came off of a truck
I am now being told I am inexperienced on transits by the seller because I'm saying the propshaft is off of a van
The propshaft I have received is skinner than the one on my transit truck and 6 inches to short it also has a rubber gator on the rear section where as my propshaft is solid on the rear section where the spline is ..
A second propshaft I found on eBay which was off of a truck was exactly the same as mine ( seller told me it is the same as mine because my old tesco Luton van ( now a recovery truck ) is a rare foreign deep dish axle and my truck was made in Germany
Is this true or is he just trying to avoid being at fault ?
I'm quite upset about being called inexperienced because I have broken up 5 transits my old mk6 Mwb tipper a couple of mk6 vans and 2 burnt out my7 tippers
Please help me on this if it is my fault then I will learn from it
