well as im thinkin of gettin one maybe next year, thought id ask u lot what its like to own one...

thinkin of a later model tho (mk1 in a few years when i have some more money), prob jus a swb tho, whats it like insurance wise etc? mot an everythin jus the same as a car? only 18 too so cant drive anythin too heavy only ever had a shot of a van once or twice where i used to work, that was a lwb hi top, loved the seatin position etc for decided i wanted my own van

mate they are good ,i have had them since i was 15 but rust is a problem with the arches but if you can find a cleen one they are very easy to keep with in reason! , i to like the seating hight of the van everything is in the correct place as most vans the steering wheel is in the bus possition! the transit is easy repair and parts are easy to get at the write money (exept mk1 and mk2) inshurance is reasonable but your age is against you in whatever you drive,i would take a gess and say about £600-800 inshurance!

Swb's are just as easy to drive/park as a big car and cost no more to run!! - bit more than a small car but you get more with it!!!
