Just been quoted £573.73p for an intercooler for 85ps Mk6 2.0 TDDi. Having a laugh or what, It was £469.99 for the intercooler. £102.34 for a new sensor as different from old one, and £1.40p for a 'SPECIAL' screw to attach said sensor.

Yep I got a second hand one from a chap on another Transit forum. I had bought a new one from TransitPartsCenter, but the angle of the outlet that went to EGR valve was wrong. They tried to fob me off at first by saying that they had sold hundreds of them no problem and there was adjustment in the intercooler pipe  Then after I tried to see if any play in pipe (and we all know there isn't) they said They thought it was the side from the turbo  I told the Ford parts guy I could buy another transit for that. I looked on the bay last night and there is an on line Ford dealer had Kuga intercoolers for about £88, so where the f**k did he get £573 from. Stll all up and running again now :D .
