Best place for full service kit? And which oil?

Hi guys I'm new to tranny ownership so please accept my apologies if I'm asking a stupid question.

Where is the best place to get a full service kit from for my newly acquired 2009 2.2?

I was going to order a genuine ford kit like the one below from eBay or is there no point?

Also, do I need to prime anything when changing the diesel filter or is it quite straight forward?

That one in your link will be good enough, you'll need a 36mm socket to remove the oil filter bowl, you may need a new oil filter bowl as they are plastic and can split.

Changing the fuel filter is straight forward, some (like me) fill the new filter with diesel where other don't, once you've changed the fuel filter start the engine and let it idle for a minute or 2.

Aye that oil filter bowl is the one, might be handy to get one just in case

Not sure how the fuel filter fits on the mk7 but on mine I just undo the locking ring by hand and pull the filter off, no need for a funky tool, a mk7 owner will be along to inform you on how they fit

Dont mind Ned and his prehistoric monster ,your filter will be 27mm if it the oil cooler hasnt been changed to a metal type filter.You fuel will be a twist type without the locking ring.
