What’s the difference

Between the mk7 2.2tdci t280 trend and a proper mk7 sport?
Ie I know the body kit, wheels etc, but, is the engine in the trend tuneable like the sports as quite fancy 180bhp in a transit and really want the real deal than make another replica..my hearts really set on a genuine sport, but I’m getting further out of price reach for one, only cheapest one iv seen has already had work in Seat belt anchors and towbar mounts..6-8k is what I’ll have to play with at end of the year, but there’s a nice trend for 3k which I can have on pay day in 3wks time..

Which sport van 130 or 140?

I'd rather have a limited but then the sport is a limited in a party dress.

Can the sport be mapped to 180? Van tuner is the man to ask.

Gona want to go with the 140, seem quite a few making 180bhp..
Umm, blue vans....all fords go faster as they get older thanks to their ageing weight reduction

Ah no always true with transits, you see you can get a super reliable van that recycles itself by rusting away (like yours) or you get a super unreliable van with hardly any rust (like mine)

Now when you do go to look at a new van make sure it's a turkey built and not a Southampton built one, did you know Southampton dipped the Vans in the sea before painting them.

So 180ps eh that must be at the flywheel

Yeh I think they run almost 300 torque
Yeh think mine was washed in the sea, thought it was best to steer clear of turkeys and all that gobble lol..
Just in two minds, really do want a sport, but can my rusty leg hold out till Xmas, more the point, can I?

My 15 yr old Mk6 Turkish lwb is still solid......unlike the 3 southampton built swb Mk6's I've had which are sitting up the farm rotting away since I took them off the road because they were so rotten I didn't even consider putting them in for their next test's, just bought replacement vans and ran them till test was due then same again till I got the lwb which went through 3 tests in a row......would probably pass if I stuck it in now with a good service and a wipe with a cloth.....Been off road for over 2 yrs......
