glow plugs?

glow plugs?

i took the cover off to reveal the glow plugs on the transit and the wire to them was cut, connected it back up and turned the key and somthing blew :roll: was told many people cut the glow plugs on them??? does any1 no why they would be cut?

The wire wasn't cut, this is a fuseible link and blow when there is a fault with a glowplug.

so it was never ment to be connect in the first place (probly why sumin blew)?

it was meant to be joined, one or some or all of your plugs have had it, when they go sick they go to earth and the live link (fusable) blows :D

:D no problem had the same problem and then the Transit Guru (Nighthawk) explained it to me :lol: :lol: just passing on the info :wink:
