how do i do the bearing mod where does it go? from what i have read its a waste of a fiver

thanks for that it probaby will not cure my problem but its free and easy.i have been thinking after reading more on this site about muck in the inlet manifold is this common and where is likely to collect is it a case of taking off the inlet cleaning it and refitting?

well so far....new filter,new cam belt checked pump timing,ball bearing conversion,egr mod,turned up pump.bled injectors,new air filter. it is getting worse it will not rev past half way up the range where it pops and splutters and loads of black smoke and no power, it start first click and ticks over fine.now i have no idea as i said before its only done 80000 miles. ?????

i dont like to sound rude but if you read my last post you will see i have done every thing sujested not just the bearing mod which i presume you are referring to when you say this would not work.

Have you changed the fuel filter and checked the fuel pipe and tank for crap?

thanks for that yes i have it seems to me something is wrong and getting worse as i did 250 miles this weekend and it has got slower and slower,somebody said it might be the inlet manifold clogged but i have never heard of this and every one i have asked said it is unlikly?.

You need to try the things that have been suggested, you say you have but I suspect you haven't had your injectors tested at a diesel specialist.

This isn't the place to do this, your techanical post is as it shows what has already been covered. And like you say the post about sludge in the manifold.
