Yes, a securicor van, I have had 3 enqiries this year, and nobody has a Mk2, only Mk3s are around in the business, so that's them out of the picture (literally!) for the early 80s....

Mine is dark blue on the colour plate under the bonnet, reg N382 DVV.Already sorted some of it's faults, broken wiper arm and electrics-3 x fuses, plenty more to go.
Going to have fun with the insurance company as they have never heard of Hallmarks,my thinking being if i show a copy of the Ford brochure and pictures of my van they will have to come across.Worried that if i lose the wheels or heated screen they think i've modded it.Having said that the heated screen is long time gone but i will source another(i hope).

transit specials

Postby john leeman » Tue Dec 20, 2005 9:02 pm

I would love one of these special trannys, HALLMARK or JUBILEE models, my friend has a ex ford motor co demonstrator, all the toys, everything .in moondust silver, already had new back doors under warranty, low mileage. and I have serviced it from new. all he does with it is bags of grass clippings & petrol mowers. I am just waiting my time to get my hands on this beauty.
35 years of driving, repairing, sleeping in transit's lovin every minute.
