Does it not state somewhere in the forums Terms and Conditions that views expressed on this forum are those of the author (member) and not those of the host or management of the forum.

I think that it is right that members pass on to each other information that maybe useful to the repair and upkeep of their vehicles. This is a FORUM, is it not

Vis.
* Forum (Roman), an open public space in the middle of a Roman city, especially the Roman Forum.
* Forum (legal), a designated space for public expression
* Internet forum, a discussion board on the Internet

There has been threads about

eBay & PayPal - Re: Warning about buying on ebay.http://fordtransit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=20650
'TRANSITPARTS.CO.UK' - Transit Parts.co.uk - Transit Spares - UK based http://fordtransit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=606
DVLA - feckin DVLA http://fordtransit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=20671

the list goes on and on. None of these threads were stopped or removed. So pray tell us why we should not tell the TRUTH about the firms that the members deal with :?:

motorwise is right :!: this could have legal implications, you must appreciate that although fordtransit.org is not responsable for your comments we are responsable for hosting them :!:

so if we are forced to we will delete this thread :( but we're all for free speech :D keep it factual post actual experiances and no heresay- and of course both sides of the story so if someone has a bad experiance with someone who you have had a good experiance with post that too :D

so................ Please Note all opinions are the personal opinion of the poster and not that of FORDTRANSIT.ORG :!:

i agree thats why i also posted a thread about good dealers. i`m not trying to offend merely to make dealers try harder to please the customer, the ones who time and time again hand over hard earned for not just a vehicle but a service pakage.
i am all for freedom of speech but would understand if the forum mods chose to close this thread.
i just think about time we stand up and were counted. how long are we gonna take this s**t
i`m sure you will see people posting the same dealers names in the good and the bad threads as you know you cant please em all. but i do feel that this would be and invaluable tool ( possibly a sticky :D ) when trying to decide where to go for servicing etc

Hartwell Ford in Dunstable, absolutely useless when it comes to aftersales service, i bought a new MK7 from them and there is a woman that runs the commercial department there and all she is interested in is getting your money, after that she couldnt give a stuff what happens to you or your van, over 3 months i waited for her to get me a new drivers side mirror which was cracked on the van when i got it, phone call after phone call, she never returned calls when she said she was going to, in the end i had to get the branch manager involved before i got my mirror, absolutely disgusting the way these dealers treat people once they have your money.

Unfortunately the motor trade is so crap to work for nowadays I can understand the salespeople/service staff being rude and unhelpful. If you want to blame anyone, blame Ford for treating dealers like crap. Not good on the customer side though I agree.
