Have any of you driven the Nurburgring? I have been round on a fully laden touring bike with pillion. It was terrifying.... but bloody amazing!

Not far from Berlin???? Errr, beg to differ. Time to get the maps out methinks.

Berlin is rather closer to Poland than anywhere else. The Nurburgring is not to far east of the Belgian/French/Luxembourg borders. It is in the Eifel region of Germany south of Aachen/Cologne (Koln) and north of Trier/Koblenz.

Guess who was lucky enough to have been posted to that region in his time!!
