What's that all about? How big is the engine? BTW we never pay any more than £180 for a tax disc, even for the V6 granny.

2.0 petrol unfortunately registered after 2001 when it is taxed by the emissions of Co2. It uses less fuel than the 1.6 escort I had, and the tailpipe is spotlessy clean!

i say scrap the road tax and put it on the fuel then everybody pays
there are too many vehicles being driven with no road tax etc.
i use my transit to tow my race car and only do less than 1500 miles a year but still pay same rate of tax
our tax systems in this country sucks. :x :x :x :x

If you were doing 1000s of miles a week I don't think you would be making this suggestion. The price of fuel is already over 50% tax as it is.

the price of the fuel is were it was going to be when the idea of dropping the road tax was thourt of a few years back ,but they cant drop the tax as they need to hit the motorist hard ,because of all this false crap about global this and green that
what a load of tosh!!! and what makes it even worse is the goverment havnt a clue about all this road tax and uro this and that!
most modern diesels and petrols dont put out much attal its all a big con and we english have to put up with it!
even the truck i drive(euro 5) has to have this add blue stuff in it so not only have the companys got to worry about silly diesel cost but add blue as well
