Worth the wait I reckon.

My van got written off early december, was 2 years old.

Picked up the new one late feb, really happy with it, specially because the insurance company paid for it!

I use it as a daily driver for the family, and for work, also towing it is outstanding.

Whats the alternative? what else is there?

In Aus toyota hiace are big so are Volks wagon ,But deep down Im a ford man I had a 2000 model v8 ute and then the
almighty 5.4 boss engine xr8 ute loved that car ,but i love my kids more and it wasnt safe to put them in the front.
Any how I put a deposit on the rwd 2.4 turbo diesel swb low roof silver  with safety pack rear tail gate not much choice for jazzing up the truckster no wheel options or leather .
And now the wait est 3-4 months.

We are told or according to the specs sheet 104 kw good compared to the toyota 3.0 litre diesel with 80 kw.And as for me getting a tailgate on my transit dealer rang a week later and told me that it was no longer available for Aus,this really pisses me off because I specified that I would only purchase the vehicle if that option was available, was this just a sales trick to get a sale or are ford Aus and uk in need of translators to help understand one another.
It must be a bit confusing ,can we order a low roof transit van with a tailgate ? yes no yes yes no yes oh of course yes before the contract has been signed, and after you sign the contract no.
I am still going ahead with the order because i want the transit ,I just hope that I am not going to regret it.
