How do i remove tree drip from the windscreen?

As it says on the header any suggestions on how to remove drip from trees from the windscreen. Mrs Andy has no option but to park under trees where she works. This is becoming a bit tricky to see through when the sun is shining directly on it. Seeing as she drives in an easterly direction to get to work. Any ideas gratefully received.

I suppose you could try something like Rain-x or some other similar product so debris doesn't stick too well to the screen, pitty you can't get Pilkington self-clean glass on automotive applications yet

Whats TFR? pardon my ignorance, its just the usual hot water,washing up liquid and newspaper dont cut the mustard.

Traffic Film Remover. Have you actually tried using stuff that is designed for washing vehicles, rather than washing up liquid?

I would suggest a scouring pad with some decent detergent, and when it's done get the Doris to put a piece of polythene sheet over the screen, when she's at work. Simply roll it up and put it in the boot before she departs.

i just rub it hard with wash n wax but it saps your strength a bit, my mates got a budding carreer as a valeter hes branching out now and taking a leaf out of my book i will get in touch with him and see if he can get to the root of the problem?

As I smoke it's the best stuff i've found for cleaning the insides of windscreens, Yes I do use stuff that is designed for vehicle exteriors but nothing seems to cut through the tree drip. Do Hellfrauds sell this TFR stuff then or is it a car parts suppliers

pretty sure they do mate but partco/brown brothers sell it in sachet's

for about £7 including vat pity you weren't up here mate i have 50ltr of it

I use cold water, a sponge and Bosun car cleaner.

I've never had a problem with it, and I park under trees everywhere.
