Mk2 Transit long wheel base Should i buy????????????

Been to look at a 1982 Long wheel base Transit today which could tow a friends race car BUT not sure of it's original spec.?Can any of you out there read the chassis number for us????????

Has a SVO sticker on the near front door post-Option 3152.Please can anyone help with this SVO option,we have no clue and i can't see what it would refer to,the van appears to ONLY has 5 stud swb front wheels and normal calipers But has a twin wheel rear axle!

dunno about the chassis numbers, SVO codes but it sounds a bit of a bitser! I have never seen or heard of a single wheel twin wheel combo, apart from that pic I was sent by sixwheelphil -

I went to look at a 4x4 front axle a while ago and the guy selling it said he converted a 4x4 to 2wd. Very unlikely but it could have been done. More likely is that the front axle/hubs/brakes have been changed for some reason for ones off a swb van. I doubt Ford would sell it with different back and front wheels.
If its got an Mot and isn't too rusty it might still be worth having.

:lol: White Arrow parcels used LWB bodies with single wheels Ive seen a MK2 one of these converted to a twin rear with single front It was painted red could it be same one it was still on road up till about 3 years ago :?
