hmm mk5 swb rethink

i got a plan for a mk5 swb if i get one cheap

is to take the front end of part from the wings and bumper and make it a mk3 front end

and some 5 spoke alloys and repaint it white at the front back at the back with a lighter blue like the racing van mk5 colour scame

with a essex v6

just wait and see i got my eye on a mk5 m reg tho so nev er know

will be a long project if i get it ie just put it at back of my orange van

dave says he will go halfs as it be a project for both of us to make a custom one

only thing is what gear box will go with the v6 essex the mt75 with a adptor plate? but will a V6 essex fit in to the engine bay with out any bulk head mods? part from engine mounts
and what rad would fit

Yeah in a few months I could get you one for nothing, you will have to collect it from several counties though

well for now i have told antie who owns our house and she said she knows whos selling the house thats got the transit on the yard with no tax or test

she gona ring the estate agents to ask for the owner phone number

the plan is to get it for free or cheap ie 150.00 max

and put two front wheels on as its got bolds

but good news i got 4 14 inch wheels anyway with good tyres

i will just tell him it needs 100.00 just for the tyres lol

that might make him a bit funny saying go on then take it

anyway if goes to plan i will let dave take it for mot
and if it passers uee it till dave sorted his hicube ie respray etc

and then when mot up put it on back yard

but if it dont pass mot and its something costy then it just be for parts for mine and daves but the shell is mint so will keep for the project i have in mind and keep trannying with my orange one and put the swb behind mine till mines ready for mot and start geting or collecting the mk3 flowing bits

headlamp seround panels
mk3 grill
mk3 bonnet
mk3 slam panel
then get some cheap alloys

this the ideal i have but the front end be a mk3 with a v6 essex under bonnet
