Plymouth to Banjul Rally (Alternative Paris-Dakar)

Well, our old bus made it to The Gambia and was sold for £1500 in the charity auction. At least the rust won't be a problem anymore.

Congratulations to Richard and the Team (String and a Prayer) who made it across the desert.

Ah, you do, but one of the rules was that rules are for breaking! The only thing that really mattered was it had to be LHD and ultimately the money raised at the auction goes to charity!

Don't they run RHD in a lot of Africa? Or is it that thye are not too picky on economic grounds? Anyway, I think this would be a good project for the Ford Transit Forum!

The Gambia only allows the import of LHD vehicles, hence that particular ruling.
