adapter plate

Postby crazyscoot » Thu Mar 30, 2006 6:05 pm

Can anyone shed any light on the adapter plates that are hard to come by. Long story short...... I met a guy today that specialises in custom made parts for performance Fords. He has specialised in cosworths and MK2 escorts for years and has a close link to a rally driver, Martin....somebody or other? While i was in the workshop he showed me round and some of the work that he's doing at the moment. I've never seen such big brake disks in all my life, They were f***in massive!!! and he's making the brake caliper mounts as we speak. As we were talking i was off on one thinking of all the parts he could make for the transit. I mentioned adapter plates for the gearboxes because i know that through reading this forum they are hard to come by. If anyone wants an adapter plate making Let me know and i'll see what he can do or i can put you in direct contact with him.

You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.
