Postby Hairylex » Thu Apr 20, 2006 10:27 am

Hi all,

It's the mrs hairylex here, sorry to gatecrash (again  )..

Does anyone in the industry know if Ford are bringing out a new Tranist engine or in the procee of developing one?

also, whats the most powerful engine that Ford put in their transit nowadays?

Thanking you,

Lou

(PS sorry Mod's if this is in the wrong place...)

It is very likely that the Mk7 will have the Volve T5 2.5 turbo petrol lump same as the new Focus ST but highly restricted. There will be alot more choice on the diesel front as well. I did hear through another forum that Fords are working on an all new range of Diesel engines.
