I presume you mean one with a higher output :?:

I'm sure they make one :!:

Or if not/already fitted you could fit a second one  so i 've found out since being on this forum :D :D :D

Presumeably goes where the air conditioning pump would go (unless your van already has air con  )

Works for me! Must do, was stopped doing 50 in a 40 area and got off.....

They stop a van (LWB panel, but with no back windows), expect a bloke driving, see it's not and the eliment of suprise kicks in. They give up cos they have to have a woman officer present if they are going to do more than ask you for your name and address. :D

asked girlfreinds dad for her hand on the weekend so was in van clen shaven and in shirt (daddy is squadren leader in raf so very scaery man).
oddly didnt see any police at all so could not test theory.
have been stopped lots over the years but this was the first time they seemed interested in anything i had done to the van.
i work with both high and low voltage dc all the time so my wiring is neat and sound, i think i just found a git in uniform.
ALEX
ps lous dad siad yes so now its official i am to be a married man.

Congratulations on your success.

Marrying into the Services eh! Sqn Ldr's aren't scarey, you should meet a Warrant Officer (we can walk over Hanger Roofs... the RAF equivalent to walking on water..... or so they say.... haven't actually tried it yet!!).

Actually, I note that you are just down the road from me. Does that mean that the future father-in-law is Innsworth based? Just curious.

cheers all, out ring shopping today so it could be interesting

frank, her dad's based in Bristol, does a lot of tri-military work and jets off everywhere but he's only got a year left before retirement!

PS. she likes your avatar of your bendy bike (she is a studying motorcycle engineer)

Motorcycle Engineer... phew, I have enough problems checking tyres pressures!

You are welcome to have a look see if you wish. I live in Churchdown, near RAF Innsworth.

A couple more pictures if she likes the avatar!

Quick threadjack ;) This isn't a trick question, which way turning does the sidecar want to lift up?

Neither, as it is not rigid and is linked by a parallelogram chain mechanism it banks with the bike as I commence the lean either direction.

Rigid outfits try to lift when the turn is in the direction of the sidecar which in turn puts all the pressure on the bikes suspension.

Ok thanks, I knew the rigid would be more pronounced just I was thinking that turning away from the sidecar would make the side car lift unless you had a heavy passenger in it but thanks for explaining.

but you can still get the sidecar to lift on right hand turns if you are not carefull.

This was what got me asking
