Into the tank went 32 litres of veg oil / acetone mix [nearly running on fumes prior to putting this in] the night before setting off. On the way there finance dictated a fill up of 30 litres before hitting the island [and presumably inflated diesel prices]. Went to Bangor from Moelfre, Valley from Moelfre via the 5025.... Friday tracked off to Anglesey circuit via Llangeffni..... Later on that day paid a visit to the Sea Zoo [near some place I have trouble pronouncing
So, towing a caravan loaded up with enough clothes and food to sustain a small army for three weeks and the three of us, we covered a total of 596 recorded miles and used about 90 litres of fuel, travelling at speeds around 55 mph returned fuel consumtion near the 30 mpg mark
Finally the sat-nav indicated a speed of 69 mph
