mk 1 A series in a field!!

hi all was at work to day delivering to a wee village in lanarkshire called caldercruix . when i was tryin to find the cottage i was delivering to i drove down a lane and lo and behold there was a mk1 a series tranny just sittin there surrounded by scrap vans. the guy who owns the van and the pther scrappers was the neighbour off the person i was delivering to talkin to to the neghbour thay said the guy would sell any of the vans there juct cos thay were worth nothin to him the van was green with a horse box on it couldnt realy get a gd look at it but the van looked ok from a distance but ye never know but thought i would give you all a shout just in caes any one is interested in it i can give you the address and directions if anybody is interested in it sorry never had my fon with me to get pics of it but if i can get some if am out that way i will do :twisted:

Do you mean Mk1 transit OR an A series? Two different things! If it's big it's an A series. Either way interesting, wish I was nearer. An Aseries would make a nice recovery truck.

sorry fred wasnt sure if it was a mrk1 or just a A series LOL :twisted:

there was a cpl of iveco dailys early and late models, few cargos cpl of sherpas ,bedford tk and a few mk 4 trannies :twisted:

Wich is it then? The A Series looks like a Mk2 only bigger. Were there any mirrors on the sherpas? :lol:
