part number cross reference (flywheels)

Postby bj928 » Sat Sep 30, 2006 2:20 pm

i've been asked a few times about the flywheel to use with a 24v engine, i was wondering if anyone has access to part number lists, would it be possible to cross reference to see if the 2.9i transit flywheel is the same as any other flywheel, knowing what ford are like for using bits they already have, my guess is that the 2.9 uses either a diesel or pinto/DOHC flywheel, this would help a few people no end.

You're the right man with the right van and chassis number to go into Ford and ask!
