BIG Thankyou to Peter Lee - Transit Van Club

BIG Thankyou to Peter Lee - Transit Van Club.

Went to get the German MOT'd & checked it over before going. I wasnt happy with the front brake cylinder - when stripped, it was siezed.
Tried just about every motor factors in the UK (thanks to 'tinternet - Peter Kay reference :D ) over four days, & was told that my cylinder was discontinued 2 years ago. OOOH Fook I thought, the disc conversion may have to be done earlier than I thought!

E-Mailed Peter with some pics & specs & he replied same day saying that as mine was an SVO vehicle (Fire Truck) it will have had the best, heavy duty possible, so it wouldnt be a normal parts number job. Invited me up to his place to compare what cylinder I had to his stocks (500+ units).

I arrived Sunday 9am, coffee on arrival, very hospitable & genuine Bloke. Quick tour of the 'storage' vehicles & a lot of info for my vehicle, then within 15 mins we had a match for my cylinders!

THANKYOU AGAIN PETER, very good to meet a nice bloke who doesnt mess you about, & can supply those very difficult pieces of info/parts which are 'unavailable' according to the usual sources.

TOP BLOKE! :D 8)
