hopefully getting a mk 5 fridge van

one of the guys on the underage car club forum has found a mk 5 fridge van at his dads work sooo i should hopefully have a van :D :D :D then i'm going to do it up ready for wen i'm legal to drive (jus fort i'd let you know :) )

lol nout i'll probs jus take the fridge unit off and sell if on ebay (surely some 1 will buy it ) if not i'll scrap it

well how it come about was this bloke at his dads work messed them about or summin so the companys taking him 2 court there then going to take the van off him and scrap it so my mate has put a word in for me saying i would take it off there hands sooo it's a certainty i can have it

if you decide to get the van, make sure you get a letter from the company spelling it out that the vehicle has been taken in lui of a debt, it's a bit of a grey area as strictly speaking they should sue him for the money and give him the van back. That having said it's very common, but the previous owner can prove the van is his (log book) and you can't. When/if you apply for a log book, he might object as they have to contact the previous registered owner. Just didn't want you to get into any trouble, that's all.

You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

Looking at the legal issuesover ownership it might be an idea to get the company to obtain a registration document before you take it on.

i wouldnt believe it untill its in your hands, loads of people make promises like this only to break them later :x
