Superman Returns??

Postby MrMPuk » Tue Jan 30, 2007 11:25 pm

I watched Superman Returns the other day, it is an American Film and the pictures below are taken from a scene set in New York harbour.

Well as many of you may know they never had the pleasure of the Ford Transit in America but some how this one managed to make it into the film.

Also I would say from looking at the pictures it is a minibus that has a panel placed over the windows down the side to make it look like a van.

I thought all the minibuses were semi-high roof, unless it's a Tourneo

right first of all sorry for dragging this old post up  but it kinda bugged me how did a transit get over there :?: and finally think i have the answer and it is the french army/navy they used transits and after having a convo with my big cousin in Canada it appears this may be the reason the french army/navy never took some of them back to France after doing cold weather training in Canada cos my cousin has seen 2 transits in army colours in a army and navy base in Canada :D so this may be one of the few that never came back and has found its way into the states from Canada could this be the answer :?:

More likely some of it was filmed at Pinewood and the action vehicle supplier snook in the good old tranny and thought nobody would notice!!
