Well, i went to Leeds to see it today and i wish i'd not bothered
Turned out to be some seedy dealer with loads of 150 quid sierra's, cav's and 50 quid orions  .
The truck used to be a Tesco fridge van(home delivery), the guy took that body off and put the dropside on( he said he bought the body off e-bay) :!:
Loads of problems, No remote fob, smashed front plate, no back lights(he cut the wires to get the Tesco body off), interior was disgusting  ,
had 126k on clock not 100k, and really badly botched in passenger seat welded in :!: (apparently the Tesco vans have no passenger seats??)
:? and to top it all, and i quote  "all it needs for its ticket is the back light wires twisting together and the body bolting on"

Needless to say i walked
a***holes like this really p1ss me off

reason for edit: original post was 4ft wide!!

BODY BOLTING ON???? I once walked away from a Mk1 like that, offered to leave the body with him, as I thought it was safer an more legal to drive off without it, but he said no.......

Unbeleivable. How do these chancers think they can get away with it??? They must do ulitmately or they wouldn't do it.

These crooks couldn't lie straight in bed and it would seem it's easy to get away with it. B*stard cost me 2 hours and a tenners worth of diesel in the car

What botheres me is the reason poeple like this get away with it is the level of the quality of vans out there that people will buy.

I once went with a mate to look at a Granada (yes it was a few years ago) :D

The car was described as having no rust, and it was rotten as a pear. When we asked to look inside, the guy said "have either of you got a ford key I can borrow"

We walked away
