started another one today for a forum member loss of power,erratic idling and loads of blue smoke

so here it is statrted this morning with me helper being me dad

so after striping it out and pulling it down to the block we found a hole in piston number 2 it has



you can just see the hole inside the bowl under the crack




you can see here the were some of the piston has stuck to the bore



turned bores to half way a filled to see if the rings or piston sizes are shite

it has a hole init as well inside of the bowl

after speaking to rumble we going to get the injectors tested just to be sure it wasn't the injector that caused this even thow they were brand new but we need to be sure off everything as their will be new pistons a little ends going in as well

NO this van was running great i drove the beast quick on the pedal fast as fook before and after i replaced the clutch for a luk one

your oil did look dirty and black

Looks nasty, sure it'll be up and running soon enough.
Always seems to be the 2.2 engines, don't often hear of 2.4 engines doing it, well not on here anyway.

Has it been chipped?... hole would suggest lean or bad timing if it were petrol... not sure about diesel?
