Thieves

Postby MrMPuk » Mon Aug 06, 2007 1:36 am

Well I just caught a couple of knippers trying to break into the back of my van. Luckily I looked out the window and disturbed them before they tried anything but from the looks of what they left behind a few other vans weren't so lucky!

For a change the Police were surprisingly quick, 3 of them in total! Doubt they will catch them though.

If you can see your van from your house you should get a cheap cctv camera from B&Q and link it up to a video recorder, that way if they come back you will know who to look out for and once the local scumbags realise you have one a cctv camera will leave your van alone.
Been there, done that and got the teeshirt.

This is what I have got, it is quite good considering it only cost £30 and a black and white picture is more clear than colour when it is dark.
Had mine a couple of years now.

Still liking the idea of wiring the body to a large capacitor. Haven't worked out the details as of yet though

I want to get some high security for my little van. not sure what yet though.

Can't trust no one these days.
