it will be having the v4 removed, and either a 24v cosworth or maybe a 2.0 zetec, got both sitting about, if i can get some v4 cologne engine mounts i think the 24v will be easiest. think i may do something with colour as well, its a bit bright

:) was in contact with this guy a couple of weeks ago ,he said it drives ok ,the mot will be a problem for you overhere as its a 4 tonner but there must be ways round that!
the v4 will only do 45- 50 flat out 45 would be best ,otherwise you wont be comeing home with that engine! make shure you have breakdown cover!!!!!! this is most important for the trip home!
and with the colour of that van you will be seen no problem! 8) 8)

good luck and let us know how you get on!

That's a bargain! Even for LHD. With an essex V4 she should trot on OK to get you home. Nice one, well done!

 remember these vehicles are not made for long trips, this van would never of sat at 80km in its life ,let alone ask it to sit at nearly 5000 revs for a few hours
the last 2 i have had bourt back would never have made it home on its own steam!
but he might be lucky!
