Next Northern meet - date to be edited in!!!

I'd like to make it to a meet, but I live in Ripon, North Yorkshire... How far north do you guys come?

I think the stockyard has everything we could need/want really, its got a huge car park, pub with food, and its fairly central

Depnds on the date as to if I can get, I will be at Billing for a couple of days next month and in spain for 4 days too.

the stockyard is just a bit too far for me to meet up regular as its around a 2 hr drive there.....but once there its ok except if you wanna get something to eat as well? i got there around 2pm when most others met and by the time we had all said hello the kitchen had stopped serving! also its not the most child friendly place and on a sunny day could do with grassy areas for everyone to chill out on and catch some rays? im just thinking more people could make more of a full day of it? and maybe then it would be worth the effort and costs of driving so far?
could we look at who attends the northern meet and where they are and then find a place to suit where most of us have to travel less? or what about changing the venue every time so that different members have the chance to meet up and maybe travel less sometimes?

What we need is ideas and locations.
What about Redcar Races Aug 9/10 a summer weekend event or Aug 23 partynight races (The Commitments)
Have found free camping and parking within walking distance.

just looked on route planner and stockyard is around 1hr 40mins from me so could maybe join ya one time,just depends what day you usually meet.
