I brought a 6000 cd player off eBay a few months back buy it now for £70 and the other day got a letter from Merseyside police saying that they were investigating the guy for stealing and selling Ford stereos on eBay about 600 stereos in total and they would like a copy of the serial number off the unit to check against there records!

selling stuff thats been pinched is my biggest bug bear with ebay, dont buy off of people who seem to shift alot of radios or car / bike gear, some are prob straight but you can bet that alot are a bit dodgy, private sellers on ebay are a better bet, ask questions about the item, you should get a feel for if they are genuine, buying nicked kit only adds to the problem

That's fine if you have a cassette player already, but have you tried to find a new cassette player in the shops lately? I have loads of cassettes, few CDs (but more lately), and we have always fitted Pioneer radio cassette players bought cheap (legaly) in France. Now that supply has dried up too. Does anybody out there repair cassettes? I have five or six that have been taken out for one reason or another.
As for the original thread's subject, I would leave neg feedback anyway, you can always answer any neg feedback left to you in retalliation, but I know what you mean.
